Planning and Zoning

On the site design for the New Community Park our team worked with the town representatives to develop a master plan and trail linkages. The trail connected the park with an existing elementary school and a wetland area with a 16 acre pond. The 6000 LF trail traversed a neighborhood and several busy streets. The site development required working with officials and a private owner to acquire land for the trail, both outright purchase and partial donation, and securing easements for the trail. The park will include facilities for baseball, softball and basketball, a wildflower garden and support facilities.

With the planning and zoning experience and civil engineering expertise,
the Thomas Hoover Engineering staff have the requirements to obtain the necessary
approvals for taking a project from concept to zoning, then to design and on through construction.
